Fall semester has started, and I’m excited to have Bruce Hetrick, former local PR agency owner (and public relations guru) as my instructor for my Campaigns class. This class is the last class in a series of public relations campaign classes, and is where we’ll put our valuable PR research and planning knowledge into action. I love the class so far. It’s been a hectic past few weeks, but I’m back! Since my last post, my new roommate and I found a place and moved into our new neighborhood.  We’re living in an old house (build circa 1923, I believe) in the heart of Broad Ripple that needs of a lot of TLC, but we’ve rolled up our sleeves in response to the challenge.  So what if our door handles fall off and the bathroom leaks? Reflecting on 2010

It’s time for the usual end-of-the-year-analysis post! 2011 is only 12 hours away now, so I can finally bid 2010 adieu (and maybe even this cold I’ve been battling)! I have mixed feelings about 2010. A lot of great things happened over the past year, but I am ready to leave it behind to move on to bigger (and hopefully even better) things.  This year marked my first full year as a full-time communications professional, and by January I will have been with my company two years.
